Horoscope Reading

In short: A full walkthrough of your Vedic birth chart — houses, planetary placements, dashas and current transits — in one consultation.

A full horoscope reading (birth chart reading) is a comprehensive walkthrough of your Vedic chart rather than a narrow focus on one life area. It covers your Lagna (ascendant), the placement and strength of the nine grahas, house-by-house themes, your current Mahadasha/Antardasha period, and upcoming transits of note.

Good starting point if you're new to astrology

If you haven't had a chart read before, or it's been several years, this is usually the right first session — it gives you and Dr. Pavan Guruji a shared picture of your chart before going deep into any single topic like marriage, career or business in a follow-up.

What you'll come away with

  • A plain-language explanation of your Lagna and the overall shape of your chart
  • The dasha periods currently active and roughly what they're traditionally associated with
  • Specific transits worth being aware of over the coming months
  • Answers to whatever particular questions you bring in

Format

60 minutes, online or in person. Bring your exact date, time and place of birth — if your birth time is uncertain, mention the closest estimate you have and we can discuss whether birth-time rectification is worthwhile. Book your reading, or browse our blog for background reading on chart terminology beforehand.

Frequently Asked Questions

I do not know my exact birth time — can I still get a reading?

A reading is still possible with an approximate time, though house-based analysis becomes less precise. We can discuss whether birth-time rectification is worth pursuing.

Is this the same as a sun-sign horoscope I would read in a newspaper?

No. A sun-sign horoscope only considers the Sun's position. This is a full Vedic chart reading using your exact birth details — Lagna, all nine grahas, houses, and dasha periods.

How long does the reading take?

Around 60 minutes for a full first reading; shorter follow-up sessions are available once your chart has already been reviewed once.
